After collaborating with the FortiusOne team for... like a year and a half now, it was time to take the rowing plunge (quite literally). Sean Gorman and Bill Greer, both world class rowers, took me out at the Potomac Boat Club. They were excellent instructors! I have become proficient at getting back in the boat. I also made it one loop down what they would consider a sprint distance (was a marathon to me). "Founded in 1869, Potomac Boat Club is the oldest and one of the best known rowing clubs in the Washington, D.C. area." www.potomacboatclub.org/aboutus.php |
